Fast Five is the latest sequel to The Fast and The Furious franchise. This series has been able to deliver nonstop action and edge of your seat races since it first debuted in 2001.
So this movie starts with Dom (Vin Diesel) who has been arrested and sentenced to jail. His closest friends break him out before he even makes it to the jail. Since it was a jail break, or bus break, now all the main characters of the story are wanted by the cops. Dom, Mia (Jordana Brewster), and Brian (Paul Walker) all escape the country and make it down to Rio De Janeiro and hook up with there old buddy Vince (Matt Shultze) for a job. Then the baddest DEA agent ever gets everyone's files dropped on his desk, and that's when Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson/The Rock) goes on the hunt. I can't tell you more, because that would ruin it.
This movie had a great cast! I'm pretty sure they only had to get maybe five people who had never been in a Fast and Furious movie before, because everyone else was in the four movies before this one. Vin Diesel did a great job of playing Dom, and was good playing him the first four times also. Heck, he even stars in a video game "Wheelman" that is almost spot on to his character in the movie. Jordana Brewster played Mia and did an awesome job. She is best known for this series, but actually started of on a soap opera As the World Turns. Paul Walker played Brian O'Conner who was last seen in The Takers. Dwayne Johnson played the super badass DEA agent Luke Hobbs. He was recently in movies such as The Other Guys and The Tooth Fairy, were he pretty much played the same character as he did in this one.
I would give this movie a 10 of 10. It was entertaining and didn't drag on at all. If you like racing, or heists, or fighting I would go watch this right now. Because you are missing out if you don't.
