The Hangover 2
Reviewed by Kendall Lewin
The Hangover 2! Do I have to say more than that? The original Hangover was hilarious and I was excited to see if the sequel would live up to its predecessor.
The Hangover 2 is about Stu (Ed Helms) getting married. Instead of having a wedding in the USA, he decides to have it where his fiance's parents are from, Thailand. Stu invites all of his freinds and reluctantly even invites Alan (Zach Galifianakis), the guy who caused all the trouble in the first movie. Stu does not want anything to happen like last time, so he is very careful of what he does. A couple nights before the wedding, the wolf pack gets back together for a bond fire on the beach. Then you see Phil (Bradley Cooper) wake up in a strange room in the middle of Bangkok, saying IT HAPPENED AGAIN! The rest of the movie is the wolf pack trying to piece together what happened in order to find Stu's soon to be brother in-law.
All the cast returned from the first movie and made this one just as hilarious as the first one. ED Helms played Stu and is most recognizable as Andy Bernard in the hit show The Office. Bradley Cooper played Phil and most recently starred in Limitless. Zach Galifianakis, who got a best breakthrough performance award for the first film, came back to play the somewhat odd Alan. He was most recently seen in Due Date, that costarred Iron Man himself Robert Downey Jr. Oh yeah, this one even has a drug dealing monkey!
I thought this movie was awesome. Some people would disagree and say that it was an exact copy of the original. I would highly suggest not watching previews for it, because you don't want to see to much of it out of context. I give this movie a straight up 10 out of 10. So now that you are done reading this tid-bit, go watch it already. The Wolf Pack depends on it!
